Steps to Translate a Webpage in Google Chrome

Step 1: Launch Google Chrome and open Chrome Menu. For this, you have to click on the three-dot button also termed as vertical ellipsis.
Step 2: Select Settings from the Chrome Menu.

Here, you will find multiple options to configure different areas of settings like accounts, passwords, search engine etc. At last, an option is given to open advanced settings for more features.

Step 3: Under Advanced settings, find “Languages”.

You will see two options here:

• Language: to manage the languages used in the browser.
• Spell Check: to look after the spellings enter by the user.

1. Order languages based on your preference: Here, you can select the language that you want to see on Google Chrome. Along with this, you can add more languages.
2. Offer to translate pages that aren’t in a language you read: This is a Toggle switch, which when turned on, gives you the option to translate a webpage which is originally in a foreign language.

Step 5: Turn on the Toggle Switch saying “Offer to translate pages that aren’t in a language you read“.

Now, whenever you will visit a webpage which is written in a foreign language, you will find a pop-up as shown in the image below.

Step 6: Click on Translate to translate the webpage into your native language.
